About Fragments

Hello. So . . . here we are. Or, at least, here I am.

I’ve had two blogs in years past (links to both of these can be found under the Writing section of this site), and didn’t intend to ever start blogging again, though I have thought about it from time to time.

Recently, I decided to change the hosting provider for my website, and since it had been years since I’d really even done anything with it, I decided to rebuild it from scratch. (And, apparently, you’ve somehow found it.)

In the software I was using to build the site (Weebly), there it was, staring at me as a possible element to add to the site: Blog.

My first thought was, “Blog? I don’t need that. I’ve already had two. What do I want with another one?”

But as I kept putting pieces of the site together, I kept seeing it peering at me from the toolbar, almost as if it were daring me to add it to the other stuff I was including.

Like children on the playground . . . “Go ahead -- I dare ya! Betcha won’t!” “Betcha I do!”

And sometimes, the kid who said “Betcha I do!” can sometimes be heard as an adult saying, “Watch this. Here, hold my beer.”

Hopefully, this will work out better than some of those times.

Be well. Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to comment below (comments are moderated to help reduce spam, so it won’t appear right away).

Love and peace to all . . . love and peace to you.
